It seems that improvisational comedy is being taught to the CERN-collider physicists studying subatomic-particles! (See Wall Street Journal article today, titled Two Protons Walk Into a Black Hole.) It's an effort to build listening skills, quick reaction, thinking-outside-the-box, etc. Jokes include:
[female physicist to blushing male physicist] A neutron walks into a bar and asks how much the drinks cost. The bartender replies, "For you, no charge." Oh intrepid researchers, let's find that jingle!!!

Took my degree in physics, and often sparred with the mathematicians, until one day it was all resolved: "Math is to physics, as grammar is to poetry." RJA

Werner Heisenberg is driving down the road and is stopped by the police. The policeman asks him, "Do you have any idea how fast you were going?", to which he responds, "No, but I know exactly where I am."
