How about a thread for some of our creativity? I found this limerick I wrote for work, related to my approval of continuing education programs. It's kinda fun:

For CEs I’m your content inspector,
For flaws, the official detector:
Objectives should measure
The content you treasure
Or surely you’ll hear from N. Spector!

Remember this one from a very long time ago...

CJ sometimes drives himself frantic
About the limerick's form he's pedantic
If the metre's not right
Then you're in for a fight
As I will undoubtedly be with this one because the last line is gigantic

"No man but a blockhead ever wrote except for money." Samuel Johnson.

Oh, yes. Those were fun days, weren't they?

From 2008:
Hillary Billary
Clinton the candidate
Fighting Obama for
Democrats' choice.

Stick to the issues and
Keep Bill away is what,
Incontrovertibly,
All of us voice!

Oh for those days again! [I even got a compliment from Bethree on this one!] I do love DDs.

This thread made me look at the book of limericks that Bob published. Where are all those people whose work Bob published? Jerry Thomas is deceased, but the rest???

Since I don't know who they are, I can't tell you.

It made me remember my original favorite limerick:

To his girl, said the sharp-eyed detective,
"It may be that my eyesight's defective.
Has your east tit the least bit the best of your west tit?
Or is it the fault of perspective?"

My favorite is:

On the breast of a woman named Gail
Was tattooed the price of her tail
And on her behind
For the sake of the blind
Was the same information, in Braille.

This summer my exercise group, Fit Femmes, had a party for one of our friends who became a grandma for the first time. I wrote this limerick (the baby's name is Cameron Angus):

To Grandma

Our Sharon is really excited
And all the Fit Femmes are delighted!
Cameron Angus is he;
Grandma’s dancing with glee.
And now we hope Trump is indicted!

Maybe that last line will come true! Wink
