Why has it been so long since we played the game of answering every question with a question? Do you think we can do it?

Why not?

What are the rules? And why is my screen black? Is this something new on the board?

Wouldn't you call that colour "brown"?

Do you like it better than any of the infopop 'premixes' we've seen in the last few days?

Don't you think we've lost something by not having a white background? What happens now to all the hidden wise-guy comments I sneaked into various posts with white type on a white background? like this one, only snottier? Didn't you realize they're now unmasked, exposed, revealed for all to see? Have you no shame?

How could I see the others? Do I have a way to compare? Did you not know that I was away? How could you have? Is it okay if I say I don't much care for this one?

What's going on here? Am I playing this game correctly? How will I know if I'm not?

Do you see how white is less visible against the beige background and more easily seen against the tan one?

Do you miss the old white as much as I do?

When you get tired of playing with the pretty colors may we go back to the old ones?

Is it possible to determine our own color schemes/"styles", or is that reserved for administrators?

Can you guess that my favorite ice cream flavor is plain vanilla? (And for that matter how un-representative my views are likely to be?)

Would it matter if I said that the black background for both posting and reading threads is quite distracting? Does anyone else find it unpleasant? Does it feel to anyone else like you are writing into a vacuum? Can I stop this insane search for a question? Does anyone have a bicycle for my fish?

Is anyone else made hungry by these colors? Do you think it might be Hab's mention of ice cream? Could it be that I'm just hungry because it's first thing in the morning and I've not yet broken my fast?

Caterwauler, could it be that the colors remind you of chocolate?

And is this a bad thing? Wink

Do you prefer the rich dark chocolate or the lighter milk chocolate? Or the white chocolate, lightest of all.

Will the chocolate analogy make these colors more 'palatable' to QFool?

Is there a quilter alive who doesn't like chocolate?

Can we get rid of the horrible black background on the post writing screen? And tone down that hideous 60s eye shadow blue?

I don't see a black background, just a chocolate brown one. It still looks godawful, though.

Did you mean for this thread to be a poll about the new color scheme?

Is anybody keeping score?

Arnie, was that a question?
And how did you type it without seeing the black and blue colours of the reply screen?

Could it be that Arnie's sense of humor tickles your funny bone, Kalleh? and Hic? Would you like to send me several samples of different types of chocolate so I can do further research? Would you be surprised to find out that I generally prefer my chocolate dark and rich (like my men - hahaha - don't tell hubby!)? Or did you suspect that?

Can it be a pleasing and wonderful thing to think of chocolate but still be possible for a person to not wish to see the colors all the time?

Is that Thomistic philosophy? Has the bottle become un-stoppered? Is Beckett waiting for Godot? Is this absurd?

Does anyone but Hab understand me?

What, again?

Is this lower-contrast variation less objectionable, at least?

On the other hand, is there a purpose for these changes other than for the sake of change?

Why is it that the main board of this part of the forum is so easy to read, and the compose portion is so awful? Why is it that the editor bar where I would like to find things like quote, strike, etc. is unreadable? Why can't the composition portion be like the posted portion?

Does anyone besides me love this set of colors? Don't you think they're cheery and bright? Isn't it nice to have variety?

The message color scheme is fine, but the framing blues are too dense for the area they occupy above and below and left. Lighter shades would be preferable.

Hab, would you believe that I agree with you about the surrounding colors (particularly as they appear on the 'compose' screen) and, though they have already been softened, I am softening them again have softened them further? Fortunately, most of the text-colors seem to work well with their backgrounds.

When can we dispense with the colors and go back to the way things were? Or is that a pipe dream?

Do the colors bother you? Do you only eat vanilla ice cream? Is it surprising that I like more colors? Do you think it might be a personality thing?

Can the blue border/frame be made into baby blue, maybe even pastel? Am I imagining things or do I detect a preference from the assembled multitudes for really light big-area colors ? And does anyone else have trouble reading the URL/B/I/UBB/"_" etc. buttons against the dark blue background immediately above this Reply-frame, or is it just on my screen?

Is that what I implied, Tinny? But, wouldn't that imply that you do not? Doesn't everyone think that Tin is colorful, too?
