But it can be done...

here it is with the official phonetic spelling (as shown at the railway station in Anglesey)

My home's Llan-vire-pooll-guin-gill-go
Ger-u-queern-drob-ooll-llandus-ilio
Gogo-goch
, but don't ask,
I'm not up to the task,
So I always just say, "I don't know."

Or, coz I know shu only likes rude limericks, how about this (which is even better)

My home's Llan-vire-pooll-guin-gill-go
Ger-u-queern-drob-ooll-llandus-ilio
Gogo-goch,
so let's chat;
Get your tongue around that
It's long and it's hard, so go slow.

I tell of the church of St Mary
In the hollow of white hazel (no fairy)
Near the rapid whirlpool
Of St Tysolo (no fool)
And a red cave, all breezy and airy.

If my memory serves me aright that is what it means.

You'd have to show the pronunciation and all the stresses. Wink

Yeah, Shu likes the riqué ones, that's for sure.

Interesting use of the word rude, Bob. What does that word mean in England?

pronounced more or less as written except that LL is an aspirated sound. Try it this way. Put your tongue against your top teet, open your mouth a little and WITHOUT moving anything make the harsh ch sound around your tongue, then at the same time sound an "L".

Trust me. It works.

Rude (in this sense) - childishly crude; saucy-postcard; carry-on film style humour. Bums and tits and stuff.
