Well, I voted. But I'm not convinced that this hyper-limerick by Legman/Shufitz from 1976,
first presented here in 7/13/2004, isn't better than all of them:

There once was a girl from Alaska,

Or conceivably John Jacob Astor.

I always remembered that limerick from when Shu posted it. I asked him tonight how he came up with it, and he said he has no idea.
