As the clear last place getter in the last game I have been asked to kick off the next game, as the clear winner B35 is otherwise detained.

So we are off to the Northern Victoria Murray River town of Echuca. It is the home of the Murray River Steamboats.

It is pronounced e-chew-ka.

Yep - but the e is short as in bet rather than long as in beet, so e-CHEW-ka.

But nobody's else's is. Wouldn't be happy posting a Poll with just 4 limericks and half of them being mine, so come on folks, it's not that hard - I have done 2 so far using 4 different perfect rhymes for Echuca.

I am totally bereft of ideas.

I don't get it? I've just produced my third limerick. So I have now done 3 limericks with 6 different rhymes for Echuca, yet I have still only received two other limericks, one from Kalleh and one from B35. Come on get cracking people.

When Gibraltar was offered as the place name, I instituted a series of lims based on an invented character. For some reason, that subject brought forth a flood of ideas. But there are times when nothing flashes forward and this is one of those times, at least for me.

I know what you mean. Sometimes nothing comes and then you see the Poll, and you wonder why you didn't think of some of the things others did.

I apologize. You all have introduced me to limericks and made me a big fan, but I haven't been able to come up with any limericks for the last two or three contests. I hope I can get back into them. I'll still continue to vote.

I sent another over the wkend so perhaps we havr quorum when all return from their Labors.
