There was an article in the Chicago Tribune today saying that scientists have engineered pigs rich in omega-3 fatty acids, meaning that someday bacon may be good for you! They then went on to imagine other re-engineered foods that they'd like to see. Here are a few of their creations: Zippered crab - No more mess cracking those shells. Zipper the meat right out of these babies. Cabernaway - Splice stain removers into wine grapes, allowing consumers to use this red wine to get out stains -- or to pair with a fine assortment of cheeses. PeaTatoes - Adding potato skin genes to green peas saves children annoying effort required to hide the little green spheres on a plate. I just know Wordcrafters can come up with some better ones that these! Come on, guys! | ||
