I see that, like the UK, the USA has had some recent cases of the previously very rare monkey pox. I wonder if it will combine with COVID to produce Monkeyvid - a disease that makes us all sit around watch short YouTube films of our simian cousins scratching their backsides. (Of course here in the UK we have been preparing by watching our simian Prime Minister doing exactly that.)
