BobHaleLimerick Game : Alpha Centauri
I decided to expand our horizons and get some really out of this world limericks.
For thoe who need to know the stress pattern is
AL-pha cen-TAU-ri
and the rhyme for British contributers is TORE-ee.
I suspect that for US contributers it may be TOH-ree but that's more of a guess.
Anyway my adjudication is this: rhyme it however you want to and we'll see what happens.
As always limericks in PMs to me.

Ha ha.....You're supposed to send in your good one, not the mediocre one.

KallehHa! Ha! Ha!
Geez. I was just kidding.
I hope no offense was taken. I thought it was funny; but I am sure everyone knew what you meant.

BobHaleAt the moment I have four limericks from three people.
Come on - give me more.
Here's one to help you along

It wasn't! He left with no story.

KallehOh, no offense was taken, Tom. I admit that my comment was rather thoughtless. Of course we all want to enter our best ones.
However, some of these places inspire a great limerick from me (even though others might not think it's great
), while others not so much. I need more inspiration for this one.

BobHaleStill don't have enough - great, good or mediocre - limericks to make a game of it.
It's now five from three.
