What's the next best website to register the following complaint so I may better reach the greater Technical Community:

Dozens or hundreds of algorithms in Windows and on the Web, too numerous to list, time-out far too fast. Typical example: You are composing a thoughtful followup in a forum such as this one. As some of your comments require a little research, you occasionally leave the site for 10 to 30 minutes. Just as you return to write the last paragraph, its algorithm times you out and deletes your entire reply

Likewise does almost everything else in the new-media and digital world time-out too fast; eg, if you pause Dish to go crack a beer, the movie scene times-out before you return. Thus when you’re ready to resume viewing, you now have to tediously fast forward back to where you were

Same thing happens with the info screen in TV mode. As it takes forever to download the synopsis of an upcoming program, you go pee. The summary comes up but times-out while you're still in the bathroom

You're taking an automated job test at an aerospace firm. You're a bit rusty so most of the questions time-out before you have a chance to answer. You don't get the job even tho you're actually overqualified for it

The external BUSlink USB hard drive you use for backup times-out after about 20 minutes, requiring you to shut it down then turn it back on before it will respond

Here’s a common real-world form of timing-out:

Every time your landline do-not-call order expires you start hearing from the telemarketer again and have to laboriously reinstate the order. Once more you have to wade through the “Dial 1 for delayed response; Dial 2 for failure of satisfaction...” message and hang fire through endless elevator music.

It’s as if they adopt their customer-relations techniques from the World of Bill Gates

I could go on and on, but you get the idea. It's as if they do it purposely as a sort of harassment

Why do the digitini so detest us

Why oh why do they hate us, hate us, hate us so
