I had a topic related to this once before but I can't find it. That original topic was about unfortunate web site names that give the wrong impression of the sites they represent. That one was prompted by the rather unfortunaetly named manufacture of quality writing implements www.penisland.net It also featured the alarmingly named web site that is a directory of therapists and theiir services www.therapist.com There were some others which I can't remember. However the metro newspaper has this week supplied a few more in an article so here they are. Take a guess at what you might find before you look. (Warning some of the names are rude. The sites however are all nice and innocent.) www.scatissue.com www.goredfoxes.com www.childsexpress.com www.bigalsonline.com www.analemma.com www.cumstore.co.uk www.northerngasheating.com www.teacherstalk.co.uk www.cummingfirst.com For those too timid to check them out, they are, in order a company called SCA who sell tissue a fan site for the Red Foxes Childs delivery company in Baltimore An aquatic supplies shop belonging to Big Al A site tracing the motion of the sun in the sky Cumbria storage systems shop A gas heating company in the Midlands A forum for teachers to talk and exchange ideas and, most unlikely of all the site of the Cumming First Methodist Church. You know, people really should be more careful. Apparently the garden centre at Mole Station in New South Wales is no longer to be be found at www.molestationnursery.com having moved to www.molerivernursery.com.This message has been edited. What is really funny to me.. in all this.. is that The Cumming First United Methodist Church is 5 miles from my house! I know many people who attend the church, and have attended a few weddings and funerals there... never knowing their website address. Being raised Baptist, and marrying a Roman Catholic, we look upon Methodists as the "fun" religion. It must certainly be true in this case.

There was a time when Methodists were very much against drinking. My family always jokes about it, being Methodist and always having a full bar in the house. LOL Great websites! There must be thousands out there like this, but I'm not going to search for this one. ******* "Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions. ~Dalai Lama

Isn't it a small world? Bob, in England, posts about a church only 5 miles from KHC in Georgia.

There is an old joke (we've been here 20 years).. that Alpharetta, the next town south towards Atlanta, was changing its name to THROBBING... anything that close to Cumming was throbbing... 'nuff said. And, yes, it's a small world.
