KallehAre you sleepy?
Words of sleep........
I recently heard a talk about
ultradian sleepiness. Ultradian (ultra + circadian) means more than one once in 24 hours, whereas circadian means the 24-hour daily rhythmic cycle of the body. Ultradian sleepiness is seen in the first 3 hours of waking, in 12 hours after waking, and before bedtime.
Others terms for sleepiness?

Well, someone should just tuck you in, then!
The AHD (
www.dictionary.com) suggests it may have come from "tuck". One of the meanings of "tuck" is "energy; vigor" (AHD).
