Here is a headline from the website of my old local newspaper. Without checking the story, who do you think has been found dead? I couldn’t call it one way or the other. Man charged with murdering Perton pensioner found dead in Shropshire Hills "No man but a blockhead ever wrote except for money." Samuel Johnson.

It sounds to me as though he murdered the pensioner, resurrected him, then killed him again. A double murder of a single soul. He outdoes Lazarus!

I would think that the suspect has just been found, dead in Shropshire. "Charged with murdering Perton pensioner" Is a parenthetical phrase, and it ends before the hills. That may not be what the writer meant, but it's how I read it.
