I don't know how many of you have heard about the British Government's cunning plan to turn immigration into an SEP (a "someone else's problem" - thanks Douglas Adams) by taking refugees and asylum seekers and putting them on a plane to Rwanda, giving the Rwandan Government a nice big suitcase full of money to allow it. Opinion on the matter is polarised along fairly predictable lines. Personally - and this isn't something I say often - I'm with Prince Charles and the Archbishop of Canterbury who both think it's appalling. Anyway, things aren't going to Home Secretary, Pritti Patel's (think Lucretia Borgia but not as nice) satisfaction as there have been lots of legal challenges with a result commented on by journalist Andrew Marr who says... "The number of people on the plane (to Rwanda) looks like being in single figures, and perhaps even below that." Can you tell me exactly how you get below single figures unless you cut people into little pieces? (An option, dear sweet Pritti - the only human being on the planet with a more unpleasant smirk than Martin Shkrelli - has probably considered, especially if she has any relatives in the pork pie trade.)This message has been edited. Here's the only Rwandan population it needs to continue increasing: https://www.google.com/search?...imgrc=gj_e32Jp3DLjuM Maybe send some of them to run the UK government? | |||
