Watching last week's episode of Psych I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
A dead woman has been found. The coroner (a very weird character) declares that she has had lots of cosmetic surgery and then says the line
"There's enough botox in her to dewrinkle every shǎ bī in China."
That odd word in the middle is the Chinese C-word and carries about the same level of offensiveness.
Presumably no one at the network bothered to check it before clearing it.

Really sticking it to the network in this episode...
Towards the end Shawn is seen casually making the pushing the right index finger in and out of the clenched left fist gesture as Gus talks about worrying that his girlfriend is meeting up with her ex. It's brief but it's clear.This message has been edited. Last edited by: BobHale,

Er... you do know that Psych is a primetime US comedy-drama, don't you?
It airs nationwide in the US on Wednesdays at 9 or 10 PM depending where you live.

I wonder just how many non-Chinese would have caught it all. I only know the word because I had a conversation with a Chinese friend in the bar one night about the relative offensiveness of various words in English and Chinese.

I am not familiar with "Psych." I don't watch a lot of television. I'll look for it.

It seems to be shown over here on Universal, which is a channel I don't watch normally, although it is in my cable package.

It's a good show. Season finale is tonight so I should get to see it tomorrow. I wonder if they will slip any more gems in. I shall be on the lookout.

According to wikipdedia it's on USA Network. 10PM Wdnesday May 29th (Season Finale)

You could also try Hulu. If you don't pay for the service they have ads, but then they have ads on USA, too.
I guess it would go here in the U.S.
