Which one?
I'm having a discussion about which of these two sentences is correct:

I have lactose intolerance

I am lactose intolerant

Any opinions?

I think both sentences are correct, except that the second one needs a hyphen: lactose-intolerant. I think the second one sounds better, too.

I agree with tinman.

I think the second, too, but if you said "I have a lactose intolerance" the first would work.

I saw this headline today:
MAN POUNDS ON COCKPIT DOOR; WRESTLED TO GROUND

Shouldn't it be "Wrestled to floor"? After all, the ground was about 35,000 feet further down. Or was he and his grapplers tossed out the door?

I agree with Tinman, too, though not with the hyphen part.

Kalleh's response baffled me until I realized that this thread consists of two separate topics, almost three months apart!
