jazzboCRunusual prefixes or suffixes
My apology and please no apoplexy if this is apostasy or has been covered but what unusual prefixes or suffixes can you gift us with? Mine obviously is apo- even though often thought of as an integral part of a root word.

zmježdAs far as affixes go, here's a list of prefixes in English (
link) and suffixes (
link). Later we can discuss the difference between a suffix and a desinence.
My vote for prefix is
y as in
yclept (related to the
ge- in German past participles such as
gekommen) and for suffix
-[i]gate or -
rama.
