My apology and please no apoplexy if this is apostasy or has been covered but what unusual prefixes or suffixes can you gift us with? Mine obviously is apo- even though often thought of as an integral part of a root word. | ||

As far as affixes go, here's a list of prefixes in English (link) and suffixes (link). Later we can discuss the difference between a suffix and a desinence. My vote for prefix is y as in yclept (related to the ge- in German past participles such as gekommen) and for suffix -[i]gate or -rama. —Ceci n'est pas un seing. | |||
