I am not sure if you can access this Chicago Tribune editorial. Probably not. They've made themselves "digital" and everything is much harder to access now. Anyway, it mentions a new term for those who criticize rape victims for their clothing or poor judgement: slut slamming. Pretty ugly, huh? It's awful that we have to have such a term, but then again at least we are finally approaching it head on. For example, Chicago's third SlutWalk will be held this September to bring attention to this horrible situation. I can't tell if the SlutWalk is a joke or not. I think I'd like to do it!

I think they're serious. Although calling it a Slutwalk is going to attract some unsavory viewers, I think. I always said, any woman who wants to dress wantonly can't be all bad.

I'm thinking I'd hate to tell my colleague that I couldn't attend their conference because I was going to be walking in the SlutWalk this Saturday. I'm just saying...
