Since the "as dumb as" thread was such a success, I thought an "as---as" or ....'er than.... thread would be fun. as busy as a one-armed paper hanger as easy as taking candy away from a baby (However, any parent knows that this one is a myth! Ever tried taking candy away from a wailing, squirming, sticky-handed baby? Not so easy!) madder than a wet hen! Kalleh notes, "as busy as a one-armed paper hanger"." An alternative regionalism is as busy as a one-legged man in an ass-kickin' contest.

Angel's "As nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rockers!" brings to mind two related ones: As nevrvous as a preacher in a cathouse. As nervous as a hooker in church.

As busy as a misquito in a nudist colony! As useless as teats on a bull. As useless as balls on the Queen. (Ooops...sorry...did I say those out loud?)

"As hot as two rats fu*&in in a wool sock." "As handy as hip pockets on a hog." (a compliment) "Happy as a gopher in soft dirt." "As beaten as a broken Whack-A-Mole." Man, too many to finish now. Longer I think of em, the more come to mind. TC.
