The ADA votes WMD the top word this year (forgive my acronyms): http://www.americandialect.org/woty.html (I'm sorry, I tried to make it a live link but I can't figure out how to do that)

I don't know how to edit a post here (is it possible?) and I just discovered the word list I posted is still for 2002 -- the one for 2003 will be released no Jan. 9.

You certainly can edit, light, and your question will be of interest to future new members. So I've put the answer in a separate thread, and we'll keep that thread near the top so new users will see it.

Oh, those are great, Light! And, don't worry about mistakes; we all make them. I had posted a couple similar links here. Scroll up 2 posts, and there is another. These are all links decrying some of the newer words or coinages. In Light's site, I liked "neuticles!" It was named the "most outrageous," meaning fake testicles for neutered pets.
