Just a random thought... only people with an IQ of 140 can understand that games advertised with "only people with an IQ of 140 can..." don't understand what "only people with an IQ of 140 can..." means.

True enough but the games advertised this way at their most fiendishly difficult seem to be the ones that a bright five-year-old could solve. And the ones at the lower end of the spectrum could be done by a blindfolded chimp. (And in reality what "high IQ" means is that you have demonstrated an aptitude for doing IQ tests. No more and no less.)
