Old timers like me are in awe at the miraculous advances in technology during the past century. We marvel at what has already been invented and wonder "What NEXT ??"

What next ???

Well, it's word related to me. I'd never heard of Garra rufa. They also go by the names of Cyprinion macrostomus, nibble fish, kangal fish, doctorfishen, and reddish log sucker.

I saw a news piece on this on TV a day or so ago. To be more accurate, although I saw some of it, I didn't take in a word, it being the breakfast show and I was still half-asleep. The only reason I remember it was that the sight of the reporter's toes being nibbled seemed mildly incongrous at 6.30 AM.

Surgeons are currently experimenting with amputations performed by piranha.

Um hmm.

And Mr. Ed really is a talking horse.
