The first is defined as quote: A figure of speech in which inanimate objects or abstractions are endowed with human qualities or are represented as possessing human form. The second is quote: Attribution of human motivation, characteristics, or behavior to inanimate objects, animals, or natural phenomena.
I know there is some difference between the two, but from the definitions, it isn't quite clear to me. |
