Liz Smith, in the Tribune, wrote an article about corporatisms, which she calls "cringe-worthy," and I have to agree. Here are some of them: 1) Did we land the plane on this one? 2) I don't want to show the seams, but it has really been frustrating. 3) Push the needle and then run it up the flag pole. 4) Then we'll take the waterfall approach. 5) The house will be dusty but go ahead and cascade it down to your teams. 6) I copied you on the email so that we're all holding hands. 7) After you tee me up, we might have all the traffic directed that way. 8) Don't forget that someone might end up without a chair when the music stops. 9) How do we bubble up the messaging before the organization's dress rehearsal in October? 10) I'd rather be structured, instead of just stream of consciousness. 11) Do we need to triage the issue? 12) We're going to meet so that I can know the "ask," but I have a hard stop at 5 pm. Wow! I haven't heard of many of these. Have you? What are some others? | ||
