Twice in two weeks I've been on-line with Brits who have spelled, "genius" as "genious." Is this standard British spelling? | ||

Looks like a back-formation from ingenious. How about the in- in that one? Doesn't mean not or un- there either. —Ceci n'est pas un seing. | |||
