Hello. I thought I would come and swell the ranks of the females and the UK contingent!

I've been lurking for a few days and now feel brave enough to come out of the shadows. Well, almost brave enough!

Welcome, Tadpole! Razz Wink Big Grin Smile Cool Another U.K. person...and female besides! [We have been a bit lacking in females on this site.]

What do you think, guys? We may have more U.K.'ers than U.S.'ers at this point. We have:
Arnie
Richard
Bob
Duncan
FatStan (though, granted, he doesn't post much anymore)
Paul
Bear (do you count???)
Roz
Chielamangus
Tadpole

Am I missing anyone? -

Many thanks for your welcome and kindly words.

I'm not really frightened so much as aware of my shortcomings. I live with a pedant....'nuff said!

"We don't bite, you know."

Not unless you want us to! Wink Eek Big Grin

Welcome newcomers! And might I add, this week we will have a chat on Saturday. Look for a Private Topic from me with all the particulars!

Confused
What is a 'Private Topic'?

I'm still trying to work out what belongs on which board.

So very sorry, Tadpole! A Private Topic is a message sent only to selected people. You post and answer exactly as you would on the main board though.

To access it, you can go to the bottom of any open thread and press "Private Topics" on the lower right, or from anywhere in the Wordcraft site at the upper right where it says "My Pop". Inside "My Pop" you will see tabs for various settings, and one tab that takes you to your "Private Topics".

I just got my private message out concerning the community and the chat. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
