I think I'm starting to get the hang of this:

He means he made a lot of posts recently because it's been raining for days here in California, so he's been spending a lot of time in front of the computer.

Asa, I like your Twilight Zone analogy (or is it metaphor?) Personally, I'm feeling sort of like Waiting for Godot and Rosenkranz and Guildenstern are Dead. (With maybe a tinge of ... no, never mind. Smile )
