Have you seen the term mainstream media (abbreviated MSM), meaning such traditional media as newspapers, TV, etc., as opposed to such recent developments as the blogsphere, etc.?

I've always heard of the mainstream media to describe news sources other than tabloids, like the "National Inquirer".
