I'd mentioned an articleb about speed-dating. The reporter, a woman, was sent out to participate in five speed dating parties (four in the US and one in London), to compare and contrast them. She reports, among other things, "One of our 'dates' spent the entire seven minutes staring at our chest." Our chest? After briefly pondering the image of a single female chest shared by two or more persons, I thought this use of the editorial "we" rather odd. Do you? --------- P.S. It should be noted that she encountered this stare-crossed date in the London event. Naughty naughty, you Brits! | ||
