Stated elsewhere: "He's lucid, rationale, and smart."

Is this a typo, or can rationale (as opposed to rational) be used in this sense?

Yeah, it was a stupid mistake. My spelling's always been pretty atrocious. Just another sign of my illiteracy. (And, speaking of the latter, when did it cease meaning unlettered and start meaning poorly educated?)

Z, there's nothing stupid about a typo. It's "an ill the flesh is heir to."

It's a measure of respect for you that when you do typo, I assume it was a proper use of which I was unaware.
