I have to write a report about social media, and therefore I need to better understand some of the nuances. For example, I need to learn about different types of social media, privacy settings, and I need to develop definitions for terms such as "tags." As you probably know, in nursing the whole social media scene has created quite a stir, with firings from jobs, expulsions from nursing programs, criminal prosecution, and discipline by boards of nursing. We are developing recommendations in an attempt to educate nurses on what is acceptable and what isn't.
