Question:
Well, since my thread about being an Aristotelian vs. a Platonist got no replies, I will try another way. When you put something together, do you use the directions (an Aristotelian) or do you try to figure it out on your own (a Platonist)? I am the latter, and it can be a pain sometimes!

Choices:
I always read the manual first
Sometimes I read the manual; sometimes I figure it out on my own
I never read the manual; I figure it out on my own

there should be another option

I never read the manual until I have to work out how to fix whatever it was I broke through not reading the manual.

It would be interesting to see how this breaks down on male/female lines.
