The OED folks have published a list of terms for which they're seeking further verification or antedating. On checking a few, I find that good antedates can be found simply from Googles News-Archive, selecting appropriate dates.

Let's help the OED folks by checking through these and giving them some good cites. (Don't worry if the cite you find is to a paid-subscription-only source. No doubt OED can get into that source.)
