Yeasts that are millions of years old? Amazing! If any place can do it, it's Dogfish Head. They make phenomenal beers.

I suppose it depends on how you define "old". As a species humans are about a million years old; as individuals few of us will see our one-hundredth birthday. Similarly yeast, as a species inconceivably old but each cell living for just a few hours. Richard English

Like the old woman who went to the doctor and complained, "I have a real problem with passing gas. I do it constantly but luckily it is silent and not at all smelly." The doctor nodded and said solemnly, "I want you to go to see Doctors Smith and Jones." "OH, are they specialists who will stop my passing gas?" "No, Dr. Jones will fix your sinuses and Dr. Smith will fit you with a hearing aid."
