I see this site. I see hundreds of IRC channels, forums, newsgroups and even blogs that contain extremely useful information. Information that was difficult, if not impossible, to obtain 20 years ago.

I understand that other places exist on the internet where misinformation and senseless dialog is rife, just as it does (and always has) outside of the internet. I don't lose sleep over that, because it is part of the human condition.

Indeed. It doesn't make the cartoon any less true or any less funny though.
