Why did no one tell me?

I just heard the news that Superman is renouncing his US citizenship. Why did no one tell me?
Why haven't I seen anything in our papers about it?
Surely news of that magnitude deserves more coverage than some rubbish royal wedding!

Now I think of it I'm surprised that Fox News haven't been on Superman's case before. They seem distinctly unimpressed with the decision now.
