I said today that I have no compunction about something, and then my husband said, "Well, I have a compunction." It made me think, I've never heard "compunction" used positively like that. I've only heard "no compunction." Shu agreed with me.

Have you heard "compunction" used positively ever?

Isn't "compunction" the mark used to separate items in a sentence?

Really, Geoff? I guess people do then. I had never heard it used in the positive.
