Much furor has attended US Supreme Court decisions in favor of the political and economic clout of corporations. That got me wondering if there's a concise study of the term as applied throughout US history.

While ranging far from just a word-related post, I wonder if the Schumpeterian idea that corporatism will destroy capitalism might be at the heart of the Supreme Court's decisions.
