I found this discussion of the word "fulsome." The AHD has a usage note on it, saying that it can be misinterpreted. It has possible roots in the word "full" and "some," though also possibly from the Saxon word fulsum meaning foul. How do you use it?

I don't. I have no use for the word. M-W also has a usage note about fulsome . Here's what the Online Etymology Dictionary says about it. Tinman
