One of my colleagues uses this word for someone who is driving and slowly tries to inch by you when his lane is merging into your lane. It's perfect. I hope it takes off!

If anyone tried such subtle moves on the Garden State Pkwy he'd be muscled to the shoulder. We have turf-y road hogs, no chiselers.

It is a little old fashioned but in the Uk it means someone who cheats people out of their money.

I've only known it to mean a cheat. Some states require drivers to admit entering traffic, but one at a time. What's NJ say? One of the few civilized things about Indiana is that drivers DO admit entering traffic for the most part. But, pedestrians BEWARE!

Pedestrians, cars, trucks, cabs, SUVs, Ubers, bikers (and now motorized scooters)- everyone in Chicago - BEWARE!

I almost got hit by a bus today.

"Get on or die!" is the bus company's slogan? Confused
