At the moment, as the only player, I am the de facto winner.

This is the easiest word we've had for a very long time.

I expect that at least five more people will enter!

Write it now!

DOn't let this be a walkover.

"Japan" can be a verb as well as a noun. "To japan" means to paint with a heavy lacquer.

Could I please have a few more? What happened to Bethree? Or Greg? Or Tom?

Yep - I'm working on it. Having issues. Not with the rhyme but with the idea I'm determined to make something of.

Sorry I didn't come up with any. I certainly couldn't have competed with the ones posted. Great limericks.

But, he promised to vote, at least. And here I thought "Japan" was easy.

Geoff, Kalleh,
For me, I have to have a 'joke' in mind, and sometimes I just draw a blank. I have never had a real creative mind, and these limericks are a real challenge to me.

You're right, Kalleh, Japan made for easy rhyming.

I was very impressed with these limericks. I thought no. one was just incredible. How you guys come up with these, I don't know. I'll keep working on them though. Maybe I'll hang up my hat (if and) after I get a vote. Big Grin
